A one-person studio patching a demo two days after launch is a statement about priorities. Demo Update #1 was not a content drop — it was input fixes, a Brute that had been too easy, and a day cycle that ended before most players finished exploring.

What has shipped

  • Demo Update #1 — the full change list from 21 October 2026: hotbar rebinds, inverted-axis fix, the Brute's tripled health pool, later nights and the trader collision bug.

What has been promised

The studio has been unusually specific about the remaining work: finish the outstanding missions, dialogue and map work, then return to bug fixing and polish before Early Access. That ordering matters, because it puts polish after content rather than alongside it.

  • Roadmap — what is known about the run-up to 8 December and what the Early Access period is expected to look like.

One patch, not a cadence

The developer has said outright that his own rule is not to update a demo unless it is necessary. Treat the current demo build as close to final for the pre-launch period.

Where changes are announced

Every patch so far has arrived as a Steam announcement first, with the community Discord picking it up afterwards. Bug reports and player screenshots collect on the Steam hub for the app.
